The interior of this two-level apartment in Bratislava reflects the owner’s experience of living in Japan for several years and his preference for a minimalist, calm and visually clean living environment. The design is based on a restrained material palette, natural light and a sense of openness.

The interior is defined by the contrast between exposed concrete and white surfaces, complemented by transparent glass. An open double-height space with a staircase and glass balustrades visually connects the two levels, while the white flooring reflects natural light and enhances the sense of spaciousness.

The result is a bright and timeless interior defined by simplicity, clean lines and a minimal selection of materials. Its calm character provides a neutral backdrop while allowing the views of the Danube and surrounding landscape to take centre stage.
